SPL Meter does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information.
SPL Meter accesses your device’s microphone solely to compute real-time sound pressure level measurements on-device. Audio is never recorded, saved, or transmitted to any server. It is processed in memory and discarded immediately.
User preferences — selected profile, averaging window, custom thresholds, haptic toggle, spectrum toggle — are stored locally on your device via standard iOS APIs (UserDefaults). These preferences never leave your device.
SPL Meter contains no analytics, no tracking, and no third-party services. The app does not communicate with any external servers.
SPL Meter is suitable for all ages. As nothing is collected, no special handling for children’s data is required.
If this policy is updated, the new version will be posted at this URL with a new “Last updated” date.
